Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released as a sudden, unannounced promotional track to build anticipation for his Pulitzer-winning album 'DAMN.', this song operates as a fierce state-of-the-union address. The instrumental constantly shape-shifts, featuring production from The Alchemist, Syk Sense, and Axl Folie. Lamar utilizes multiple flows to critique the rap industry, American politics, and issue direct, subliminal warnings to his musical competitors.
