Album Notes & Community Reviews

Initially posted to YouTube with a self-edited, lo-fi montage of vintage Hollywood footage and webcam clips, 'Video Games' became a massive viral sensation that launched Lana Del Rey's career. The track's sweeping harp glissandos, cinematic strings, and deep, sultry vocal delivery intentionally evoked 1950s Americana and tragic romance. It sparked intense critical debate regarding authenticity and persona in the internet age while shifting the pop landscape toward darker, moodier aesthetics.
