Album Notes & Community Reviews

A devastatingly raw piano ballad released as a promotional single for 'Melodrama'. The track features Lorde lamenting the toll that fame and her intense personality take on her personal relationships, ultimately realizing she must learn to rely on herself. It marked a stark, acoustic departure from the heavy synthesizer production of her previous work.
