Album Notes & Community Reviews
A single from the sole album by the R&B supergroup formed by Raphael Saadiq, Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Dawn Robinson, 'Don't Mess with My Man' is built on live funk instrumentation and Robinson's assertive lead vocal. The track distills the trio's concept: classic soul and disco mechanics voiced by veterans of three defining groups of the previous decade.
