Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anchored by an instantly recognizable, sweeping guitar riff, the track functions as a sprawling, poetic critique of consumerism and modern capitalist alienation. Richey Edwards and Nicky Wire's deeply literate lyrics dissect the emptiness of youth culture over a grandiose, arena-ready alternative rock arrangement. It demonstrated the Welsh band's unique ability to merge stadium-sized ambition with intense, uncompromising intellectualism.
