Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring lead vocals from Bruno Mars, this relentlessly energetic track is a meticulously crafted homage to the Minneapolis Sound and early 1980s electro-funk. The song reportedly went through over a hundred different iterations during a grueling recording process to perfect its infectious bassline and brass stabs. It became a ubiquitous global phenomenon, ruling the top of the charts for fourteen weeks and solidifying itself as one of the best-selling singles of all time.
