Album Notes & Community Reviews

Characterized by a warm, incredibly nimble fingerpicking style, this gentle acoustic blues serves as a deeply autobiographical ode to the singer's rural hometown. Its lack of commercial success led the artist into a decades-long obscurity before his legendary rediscovery during the 1960s folk revival.
