Album Notes & Community Reviews

A 12-inch from the New York underground collective organized by MF Grimm, whose members, MF Doom among them, performed under kaiju monster aliases. 'Run the Sphere' works in the group's abstract boom bap idiom: dense sample collage, off-kilter cadences and comic-book menace.

Genres

Descriptors: sampling, sample-heavy, experimental, leftfield, wordplay
