Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring backing vocals from James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt, this pristine acoustic recording yielded the legendary Canadian songwriter his only US number one single. The shimmering pedal steel and wistful harmonica arrangements perfectly distilled the massive, highly lucrative shift toward introspective country-rock in the early seventies.
