Album Notes & Community Reviews
Co-produced with Stephen Hague specifically to spearhead the 'Substance' compilation, 'True Faith' perfected the band's blend of melancholic indie-pop and sophisticated dancefloor sequencers. The lyrics juxtapose an upbeat, club-ready melody against dark reflections on drug addiction and dependency. Its highly stylized music video helped solidify New Order's commercial footprint in the United States.
