Album Notes & Community Reviews
A powerful double A-side pairing from 'In Utero' exploring the dualities of Kurt Cobain's songwriting. 'All Apologies' is a bright, exhausted sigh of a pop song featuring Kera Schaley's weeping cello arrangement and lyrics apologizing for Cobain's own perceived inadequacy. 'Rape Me', conversely, is an abrasive, anti-rape punk anthem weaponizing extreme lyrical discomfort to attack media exploitation.
