Album Notes & Community Reviews
Drawn from Pinback's self-titled debut, 'Tripoli' layers the San Diego duo's interlocking guitar and bass lines over programmed rhythms, Rob Crow and Zach Smith trading near-whispered vocals. Its hushed, looping construction sets mortality imagery against the pair's most reduced arrangement.
