Album Notes & Community Reviews

Developed over fifteen years, 'Burn the Witch' finally materialized as the lead single for 'A Moon Shaped Pool'. Propelled by Jonny Greenwood's frantic, col legno string orchestration rather than standard rock instrumentation, the track generates intense, suffocating suspense. Thom Yorke's lyrics serve as a pointed critique of right-wing populism, groupthink, and anti-immigrant hysteria in contemporary society.
