Daydreaming

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Accompanied by a hypnotic music video directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, 'Daydreaming' features a delicate, cyclical piano motif heavily influenced by minimalism. The track is notable for its lush orchestration and deep atmosphere of mourning, seemingly addressing Thom Yorke's recent separation from his long-term partner. The song's chilling conclusion features Yorke's distorted vocals reversed and slowed down, translating roughly to 'half of my life'.
