Spectre

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally commissioned as the title theme for the James Bond film 'Spectre', the track was ultimately rejected by producers for being too melancholic and dark. Radiohead independently released it on Christmas Day, revealing a lush, piano-driven ballad draped in majestic, sweeping string arrangements that perfectly echo the spy franchise's aesthetic. It showcased the band's continued mastery of orchestral tension and cinematic grandeur.
