Album Notes & Community Reviews
The third single from her critically acclaimed album 'Rated R', 'Rude Boy' incorporates heavy dancehall and R&B elements. Produced by StarGate and Rob Swire, the track's infectious, pulsating riddim provided a more upbeat, Caribbean-flavored contrast to the album's otherwise dark tone. It spent five consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
