Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the lead single for 'SAWAYAMA', this track boldly clashes early-2000s nu-metal aggression with pristine, bubblegum pop vocal melodies. Rina Sawayama uses the abrasive instrumental to vent her frustrations regarding microaggressions and the fetishization of Asian women in Western society. The daring stylistic hybrid earned her widespread acclaim for subverting pop expectations.
