Album Notes & Community Reviews

Lacking a traditional chorus and ending abruptly with a synthesizer swell, this incredibly avant-garde debut single nonetheless stormed the British pop charts. Brian Eno's chaotic electronic treatments and Bryan Ferry's highly stylized, pop-art lyricism completely shattered the boundaries of contemporary rock and roll.
