Album Notes & Community Reviews

A stunning, structurally complex ballad devoid of a standard verse-chorus progression, building continuously toward a dramatic, operatic climax. Orbison's remarkable multi-octave vocal range and the sweeping orchestral arrangement completely elevated the artistic potential of the early-1960s pop single.
