Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally released as a B-side shortly after Cooke's tragic death, this standalone reissue focuses solely on the intensely profound civil rights anthem. Heavily inspired by Bob Dylan, the sweeping, mournful string arrangement perfectly supports Cooke's most passionate and historically significant vocal performance.
