Album Notes & Community Reviews
From 'Surfacing', written in a period when McLachlan was reading about musicians lost to heroin, among them the Smashing Pumpkins' touring keyboardist Jonathan Melvoin. Its piano-and-voice restraint made it her definitive ballad and a standard at memorial occasions.
