Album Notes & Community Reviews

A pioneering anthem of social inclusion and equality that brilliantly synthesized pop melodies with a heavy, deeply rhythmic funk groove. The track is historically significant for Larry Graham's introduction of the percussive, slap-and-pop bass playing technique that would soon dominate the genre.
