Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally written to combat the negativity of the late 90s alternative scene and provide encouragement to the band's bullied fans, 'All Star' is a ceaselessly optimistic pop-rock anthem. The track features an instantly recognizable, whistled melody and scratch-heavy production influences. Its subsequent utilization in numerous blockbuster film soundtracks ensured its permanent, memetic legacy in internet pop culture.
