Album Notes & Community Reviews
A minimalist, steadily building alternative rock ballad driven by a simple, repeating guitar riff and intensely earnest lyrics. Its prominent placement in the medical drama 'Grey's Anatomy' catapulted the song to massive international commercial success, becoming one of the most widely played radio tracks of the decade. It defined the emotional, arena-ready indie-pop crossover sound of the era.
