Kool Thing

Album Notes & Community Reviews

A sarcastic, noise-rock confrontation with the commercialization of underground culture, directly inspired by Kim Gordon's awkward interview with LL Cool J. The track features an undeniable, swaggering guitar riff and a spoken-word guest appearance by Chuck D of Public Enemy. It served as the band's major-label debut, successfully injecting their avant-garde dissonance into the mainstream alternative rock boom.
