Album Notes & Community Reviews
Built on a sample of Marlena Shaw's live 'Woman of the Ghetto', 'Rose rouge' is the signature single from Ludovic Navarre's 'Tourist'. Its jazz-house construction of brushed drums, double bass and Shaw's exhortation defined the French nu jazz moment.
