Formed as a one-off collaborative trio featuring Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk, DJ Falcon, and vocalist Benjamin Diamond, Stardust created what is often considered the definitive anthem of the French Touch movement. Built around a masterfully looped micro-sample of Chaka Khan's 'Fate', the track exemplifies the filter-heavy, euphoric sound of late-90s house music. It remains a masterclass in tension, release, and pop minimalism.
