Superstition / You've Got It Bad Girl

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally offered to guitarist Jeff Beck before Berry Gordy insisted Wonder release it himself, the song is built around its immortal Hohner Clavinet riff and a driving TONTO synthesizer bassline. The track showcases Wonder's absolute independence and multi-instrumental genius during his classic 1970s period. It became a monumental crossover hit, blending hard funk with socially conscious lyrics about the dangers of ignorance.
