Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-written with Max Martin and Shellback, this pristine pop track serves as a brilliant piece of self-satire. Taylor Swift leans into the media's portrayal of her as a manipulative, obsessive serial-dater, adopting a theatrical, villainous persona over a minimalist synth-pop beat. It successfully dethroned her own 'Shake It Off' at the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
