Album Notes & Community Reviews

Rooted in Arthur Janov's Primal Therapy, 'Shout' was crafted as an explicitly political protest anthem rather than a song about personal neuroses. Its heavy reliance on an aggressive, programmed drum machine pattern and dark, booming synthesizers gave it a surprisingly industrial edge for a mainstream pop hit.
