Album Notes & Community Reviews

Opening with a highly uncharacteristic, symphonic prelude before transitioning into a shuffling, mid-tempo groove, this release marked a significant leap in Brian Wilson's compositional ambition. The intricate, soaring vocal counterpoint during the fade-out remains a pinnacle of complex pop arranging.
