Album Notes & Community Reviews

Driven by a minimalist, synthesized 808 beat and aggressively repetitive lyrical boasts from Fergie and will.i.am, the track became a widely polarizing but immensely successful club anthem. Despite receiving overwhelmingly negative reviews from music critics for its simplistic, suggestive lyrics, its cultural ubiquity was undeniable. The song famously won a Grammy Award and generated numerous prominent pop-culture parodies.
