Album Notes & Community Reviews
Seamlessly fusing the chugging power chords of seventies hard rock with sleek, sequenced synthesizer lines, this massive debut single heavily defined the American new wave movement. Benjamin Orr's detached vocal delivery and the pristine Roy Thomas Baker production proved remarkably influential on the shifting, synthetic landscape of modern pop rock.
