Rock the Casbah / Long Time Jerk

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Driven by a bouncing piano riff entirely composed and performed by drummer Topper Headon, this dance-punk anthem humorously addresses the Iranian regime's ban on Western disco music. Its polished, club-ready production made it the band's highest-charting single in the United States. The track was propelled to massive global ubiquity by an iconic, highly rotated music video prominently featuring an armadillo.
