Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Stuart Price, 'Human' leaned heavily into grand, European synthpop, abandoning much of the Bruce Springsteen-inspired Americana of their previous album. Its notoriously debated lyric ('Are we human, or are we dancer?') added a layer of cryptic existentialism to the massive dancefloor groove.
