Album Notes & Community Reviews

Prompted by a radio DJ insensitively fading a news report about the Chernobyl disaster directly into a cheery Wham! song, 'Panic' attacks the vacuousness of mainstream pop radio. Its glam-rock-inspired shuffle and the infamous closing chant to 'burn down the disco' stirred mild controversy but proved massively popular among alternative audiences.
