Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Understanding in a Car Crash', the opening track of Thursday's 'Full Collapse', condenses the New Brunswick band's post-hardcore method: Geoff Rickly's car-crash metaphor sung and screamed over shifting dynamics. It became the defining song of second-wave emo's turn toward hardcore.
