Album Notes & Community Reviews
Tindersticks' first release for their new label was a cover of the Four Tops' 'What Is a Man', recorded as the theme to the BBC drama 'The Sins'. Stuart Staples' baritone leads a chamber-pop arrangement of strings and brushed rhythm that recasts the soul original as orchestral melancholy.
