Okra

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Self-described by the artist as a 'throwaway song' recorded in early 2018, this standalone track boasts incredibly dense, distorted 808s and chaotic string samples. It features an aggressive, rapid-fire flow where the artist heavily flexes financial success while playfully dropping pop culture references, including a nod to Timothée Chalamet. The release showcased the rapper's ability to seamlessly pivot back to raw, braggadocious hip-hop immediately following a highly melodic, introspective album era.
