Album Notes & Community Reviews
A stark, menacing highlight from his debut album 'Summertime '06', characterized by Clams Casino's eerie, sirens-laced production. Vince Staples delivers an unflinching, remarkably detailed account of gang life and police brutality in North Long Beach, California. The track's grim realism solidified his position as one of the most vital voices in modern West Coast hip-hop.
