Lyrics for The Tower

So many miles through the unknown forests Side by side through wind and rain Desperate thoughts and fear in their eyes They didn't really want to go The tales and the stories were spread around Well know to every man Fools-they kept trying Lord knows they kept dying By the tower walls THE TOWER WAS STRONG AND THE ENEMIES FEW FOR THE GLORY THEY TRIED FOR THE GLORY THEY DIED THE TOWER No mercy was given, no feelings showed The human tracks along the wall Screams of anger, blood and tears Echoes from the underground Despite the losses despite the fear They gathered for one last attack Fools-they kept trying Lord knows they kept dying By the tower walls Chorus What was the price of the glory Now it seems so far away No more blood will be spilled there But the memories remain The tower
