Lyrics for Try, Try, Try

Well, a friend said to me He said, "You try too hard You just spin around in circles You never get it right" I said, "Now wait a minute, James Don't you come down so hard Yeah, I spin around in circles But I'm gonna get it right" You can crawl across the floor Till your knees do bleed He said, "There's no dignity 'Cause anyone can bleed" I said, "Now wait a minute, Mama Don't you cry so hard Yeah, I try, try, try And I'm gonna get it right" You can keep all your prayers In a beaded bag Lock away all your saints 'Cause I'm gonna get it right
