Physic

Lyrics for Physic

Litanies as merciless dividers Pearly rain protectors & providers Oh at land the eye becomes the author Tenses drift & one outlasts the other My dear I'm new at this & i'll still be when I'm through with it So now I'm done for; what had I begun for? Gusty blows to hold or loose an arrow Nerves at odds in proprietary peril Husk & soot to spread amid the myrtle Rituals reset to feed the fertile Bleed dry the finite to suffer what we stole to whistle Barrier & bottle & pinprick of parted hair bristle Moonlight is in tow, shimmered in tidal decorum Faded & mottled, lacking source or static form My dear I'm new at this & i'll still be when I'm through with it So now I'm done for; what had I begun for?
