Lyrics for Scottish Block
Some friend a while went underground Thought he could disappear just so Lived all his days with curtains drawn Lay low, took the bins out dead of night Thought he could rely on some close community Community in the close but no Some friend a while went underground Thought he could disappear just so Some friend a while went underground Thought he could disappear just so Wished to be lost in a Scottish block To duck beneath and pay no tax Yet see the day, still see the day Working always on the black Some friend a while went underground Thought he could disappear just so Some friend a while went underground Thought he could disappear just so Shopped by a woman on the block To the men from the district tax invasion corps Irregularities not unnoticed Some peculiar goings on Some friend a while went underground Thought he could disappear just so
