Livin On The Open Road

Lyrics for Livin On The Open Road

Here we are in a road on a highway Looking for a place to get a bite Radiator's busted running low on gas Got to be in Birmingham tonite Well I have my hands full keeping right on down Think it's gonna be alright Everybody's worried cause we gotta pull a load For we're living oh lord out on the open road Left my home folks down in Mississippi Told em I was gonna be a star Momma said son you'll be alright Makes no matter where you are So I packed everything I had to my name Put in in the back of my car And ever since then I been pulling a load Cause I'm living out on the open road Oh no I wanna go home Woah no wanna go home I made a long distance call the other day Next thing to being home You should have heard what the phone people had to say When I told them all I had was just a song I asked the old jailer man how long I was in for He said son it won't be long Just another day for a dollar that you owe Cause you're living oh no out on the open road Woah no I wanna go home Oh no I wanna go home Woah no I wanna go home Oh no I wanna go home
