Lyrics for Plants
In the garden, flowers speak to me They turn slightly toward the sun they see Red and blue you are the shadow Why is Lara talking to a plant? In the forest, trees hear more than leaves. They talk to me with electric speech In a language, no one translates. Pretending it's not odd to whisper Acting normal, like no one hears her Wild, green ivy. Do you try to speak? When I am walking Oh, do you know it's me? People say it's easy to talk to Other humans creeping next to you But I never seem to get through Why is Lara talking to a plant? Underground a seed turns to a sprout Fungus talking out of roots they shout In a language, no one translates Pretending it's not odd to whisper Acting normal like no one hears her Wild, green ivy. Do you try to speak? When I am walking Oh, do you know it's me?
