Mycelium

Lyrics for Mycelium

A gateway with no lock lays opened and a shell lays bare Dendrites reaching to hyphae, intertwining to the pale ever-branching structure Travelling through nuclei, seeing through the eye I Bolting through the axons, dispersing pathways spread self Enzymes melting psyche Dissolve, decompose, bifurcate Soma shattering pulse In deathly mycorrhiza the mycelium spreads Innumerable forms gazing back In the grip of the pale fingers inner child devoured by the ravenous ancient selves A node spread all open A beacon or the vultures, and they come to feast
