Lyrics for The Letter
It's 2: 45am and I can't sleep tonight You told me that you had written me a letter To expect it any day now I ask you for all the clues You told me I'd have to wait and see For delivery of your words to me Today is letter day Paper and a postage stamp Takes my grey skies away Today is letter day Paper and a postage stamp Takes my grey skies away You asked me if I still feel the same way as yeaterday If I cut your name into my arm with broken glass Would that be proof enough I'll miss you before I finish writing the next line Why does there have to be this distance between us You're so far way Forever lives in everyday It's a test of strenghth I believe in my heart If it's truly meant to be Nothing will keep us apart Nothing will keep us apart Today is letter day Paper and a postage stamp Takes my grey skies away Today is letter day Paper and a postage stamp Takes my grey skies away Today is letter day (repeat until end)
