Lyrics for Only Sixteen
She was only sixteen, only sixteen (sixteen, sixteen) (whoo) I loved her so (whooo) But, she was too young to fall in love (sixteen, sixteen) And I was too young to know (whooo) We'd laugh and we'd sing (sixteen) And do the little things (sixteen) (whoo) That made my heart glow (whooo) But she was too young to fall in love (sixteen, sixteen) And I was too young to know (whooo) Why did I give my heart so fast? It never will happen again But I was a mere lad of sixteen I've aged a year since then She was only sixteen, only sixteen (sixteen, sixteen) (whoo) With eyes that would glow (whooo) But she was too young to fall in love (sixteen, sixteen) And I was too young to know (whooo) (But why did you give your heart so fast?) Boy, it never will happen again (whooo) (But you were a mere lad of sixteen) I've aged a year since then (whooo) She was only sixteen, only sixteen (sixteen, sixteen) (whoo) With eyes that would glow (whooo) But she was too young to fall in love (sixteen, sixteen) And I was too young to know (whooo) But, she was too young to fall in love (sixteen, sixteen) And I was too young to know (whooo) Woah she was too young to fall in love (sixteen, sixteen) And I was too young to know
