Lyrics for Drowned

Send back the jump-leads, I can't get out of bed I've got a piece of memory and it's lodged inside my head And it hurts when I'm thinking about the way you dragged me down Don't you try to revive me, I'd just Drown Washed up for action in my plus 44's Filled up with chemicals that seeped in through my pores I was left out on a sandbank with the seagulls flying round Don't you try to revive me, I'd just Drown That shape in the distance, is it some kind of bag? It flaps in the wind like a battle-torn flag You're inclined to ignore it, but your dog keeps sniffing round Don't you try to revive me, I'd just Drown Been here for hours in my all-weather coat I got caught in the propellers of a passing pleasure boat So at first observation you may not know what you've found Don't you try to revive me, I'd just Drown Don't you try to revive me, I'd just Drown Don't you try to revive me, I'd just Drown
